Master Of The King Of The Hill Kicks-off In November November 4, 2011

All tennis buffs get ready for the Youth Guidance 7th Annual Master of the
King of the Hill Tennis Tournament held Fridays, November 4, 11 and 18,
at The Boulevard Village and Tennis Club, Vero Beach. The Senior
Division begins at 5:00pm and the Open Division begins at 6:30pm. This
annual event involves tennis professionals (U.S.P.T.A.) from Indian River
and surrounding counties. The competition provides an opportunity for the
winners of the previous 16 King of the Hill Tournaments to play one
another to determine who the “Master” is of all the King of the Hill
champions. The King of the Hill Tennis Tournament, a six week contest
played in January and February, was introduced in 1996 to give area tennis
enthusiasts the chance to watch high level doubles competition and tennis
pros the opportunity to partake and enjoy the spirit of competition. All
funds raised at the Masters will directly benefit the children in the Youth
Guidance Mentoring & Activities Program. Ticket prices are $8.00, $15.00
for couples with special pricing for individuals attending all three dates and
$60.00 for admittance to both the Masters and the King of the Hill
Tournaments. There will also be a lot of fun and excitement including a
50/50 raffle, a cash bar and dinner buffet.
