The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago is pleased to present its annual fundraising benefit, artEdge. Widely known for producing the most innovative and experiential fundraising events in Chicago, this year’s artEdge will be no exception. On Saturday, February 2, 2013, guests will be transported to an innovative industrial revolution as the MCA Warehouse is converted into a modern-day factory. With whirling ceiling fans, chain-link walls, a unique food presentation with conveyer belts and impromptu live performances, attendees will be in for a night of industrial elegance.
After enjoying dinner and drinks, attendees will descend downstairs for a special performance by indie pop group, Fitz and the Tantrums. The concert will feature dancing, a unique dessert display, and a VIP Rubber Bar. Benefit tickets include the cocktail reception, dinner by Jewell Events Catering, dessert reception and concert with Fitz and the Tantrums and are available for $1,000. Table packages begin at $15,000. Concert tickets including open bar, dessert reception and concert performance are offered for $150. All proceeds from artEdge benefit MCA programming. artEdge is co-chaired by: Anne Kaplan, Marty Nesbitt and Anita Blanchard, and Michael and Susan Canmann.
