The Chesterfield County Police Department, Bon Secours St. Francis Watkins Centre and Substance Abuse Free Environment (SAFE) will host a Medication Take-Back Day to safely dispose of expired medications. The event will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 10am-2pm, at the Bon Secours St. Francis Watkins Centre. Police and volunteers will be collecting unused or expired prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, and veterinary medications, and all medications should be kept in original containers. Pharmacists from St. Francis Medical Center and Midlothian Apothecary will be answering general medication questions and tours of the Centre will be available.
