Meet Baseball Greats Andy Pafko & Len Merullo October 7, 2005

Former Chicago Cubs outfielder Andy Pafko, 84, and shortstop Len Merullo, 88, are scheduled to join author Charles N. Billington at AU Sports Memorabilia in Skokie, IL for a reunion appearance 60 years after the men played in Wrigley Field's last World Series.

The elderly former Cubs will autograph memorabilia and reminisce about their seven-game series with the Detroit Tigers while Billington will sign copies of his new book, "Wrigley Field's Last World Series: The Wartime Chicago Cubs and the Pennant of 1945," detailing their historic season. This event is free and open to the public though there will be a charge for autographs.
