Midtown: Relatively Functional May 4, 2007

'Relatively Functional' challenges the notion of a picture perfect family offering a look at the functionality of relationships between family, friends, lovers and co-workers within a neighborhood. Along the way exposing; a family that does most of it's communication through overheard arguments behind a swinging kitchen door; radio talk show hosts at a local radio station that offer a daily dose of advice and sister rivalry; and the all too fervent 80's pop culture driven German couple who manage the local video store running from an unspoken past. 'Relatively Functional' is that peep hole to every window you've caught a glimpse into that's left you wondering what other people's lives are like; and we think it goes a little something like this...
