Miles of Music is an inspiring week of music and good times. Our remote island camp on New Hampshire's Lake Winnipessaukee is the perfect place to challenge yourself with something new.
Laura Cortese & Kristin Andreassen founded this unique camp to bring together staff and students interested in creativity and an exchange of ideas within a diverse musical community. With backgrounds ranging from indie rock to traditional fiddle & dance music, our instructors are professional songwriters and instrumentalists who are excited to share their skills and experiences.
In addition to classes, jams & night-time dances, we'll leave you plenty of free time for swimming, boating, tennis, dancing, exploring and just relaxing in our 42-acre island paradise.
Bring your guitars, fiddles, voices, mandolins, banjos, flutes, horns, basses, percussion, swimsuits, sunscreen, dancing shoes and an open mind.
2011 Teaching Staff & Guest Artists include Jennifer Kimball, Jefferson Hamer, Dawn Landes, Matt Douglas, Michael Merenda, Chas Justus, Eric Frey, and your hosts Laura Cortese & Kristin Andreassen. E-mail goodtimes@milesofmusiccamp.com for an application.
