Millikin Percussion Ensemble: Synergy February 12, 2011

This year's Percussion Ensemble Synergy concert showcases the distinctiveness of Millikin's ubiquitous interdisciplinary alliances through a collaborative concert exploring the link between percussion chamber music and the literary arts. Special guests include the: Millikin Brass Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Gary Shaw; flutist Jessica Villarreal; DJ Brainstorm and more! In celebration of Black History Month, the ensemble will present the world premiere of works by composers John Stafford II and O'Neal Douglas.
