Mission Back to School

Hosted By High Springs Lions Club,
Beyond the Box Ministry, and All Creations Salon.

We expect 500 children to attend this year, last year we had 300 children take advantage of this program.

All families in our community that are struggling with finances and we want to reach out to the children of High Springs Fort White, and Alachua by giving away backpacks and basic school supplies. This could get the children off to a better start for their education.

The event will be held at the Civic Center building and Park on August 11, 2012, 11:00am to 2:00pm. The High Springs Lions Club will be hosting this Free Event for the children of our community.

The event will offer many services, for example: Lice Checks, Haircuts, Food and Back Packs filled with School Supplies also clothing for the kids. Entertainment; Live Music, Horseback Rides, Water Slide, Children MUST be accompanied by adult. No adults will be given back pack without children.
