Mission Possible February 20, 2011

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to search out the unusual. We will travel from Drumlin Farm in search of the rarest hot-line birds reported during the week. This trip is filled with excitement as we track down these rarities that appear each winter. In past years we've been almost 100% successful in finding reported birds, including Ivory Gull, Varied Thrush, Bohemian Waxwing, King Eider, Hawk Owl, and a host of others. Once we accomplish our mission, we will spend the balance of the day birding adjacent locations to find more exciting winter species. - - Open to everyone age 16 or older. Registration is required.
