Fresno’s First Armenian Presbyterian Church will host “Mission Possible: Evangelism Objectives from Fresno to the Ends of the Earth.”

Fresno State students Janik Oganesyan and Tamar Melkonian will speak on the Summer 2011 Armenian Missionary Association of America internships in the Republic of Armenia. Dr. Jacob M. Khushigian and Fresno State graduate Daniel Khushigian will discuss the recent Global Health Outreach to the Dominican Republic. Clovis West High School student Gardenia Nahigian will report on the ongoing Sack Lunch Ministry in the City of Fresno.
Chartered by 40 Armenian immigrants on July 25, 1897, FAPC today is a multigenerational, multilingual congregation of 400 drawn from the Old and New Worlds. Reverend Mgrdich Melkonian is the Senior Pastor, Reverend Mike Mekredijian is the Associate Pastor, and Thomas Bulger is Chair of the FAPC Men’s Fellowship Committee on Missions.
FAPC is a member congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America. The 2011 theme of the congregation is “A New Community.”
