Missoula Folklore Society Contra Dance - Volunteer Appreciation Night May 16, 2009

This is the annual volunteer appreciation dance. Those who have volunteered in the previous year get in free (although donations to pay the caller & band are gratefully accepted). There are extra special refreshments and a volunteer raffle.

What is Contra Dancing? Americanized old English Country dance -- it is fun, great exercise, and easy to learn. With live music and lively dancers, all dances are taught from scratch. Everyone is welcome including singles, couples, groups, and families. A workshop for new dancers starts at 7:30.
