+ JEFF SAMUEL
10 years into his DJ/production career, Jeff Samuel has been firmly cemented in the upper echelon of avant-garde techno artists. One of the first producers to make successful all-digital records, his work is played regularly by DJ's such as Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Francois K, Steve Bug, Akufen, Craig Richards, Mazi, Claude Young, Michael Mayer, and John Tejada. While primarily known for his signature funky, quirky productions, Jeff has also made a name for himself as a very entertaining DJ who frequently delves into deeper tech-house and more intense techno stylings. This will also be Jeff’s final US date before moving to Germany, so you can expect a highly impressionable performance. Don't miss one of the few true heroes of American minimal techno.
+ ADAM JAY
In the last 4 years Adam Jay has taken the global techno scene by the throat with continuous output on the most respected labels worldwide. His latest releases on Germany's Monoid and Fine Audio labels have graced the charts of Dave Clarke, Sven Vath and other techno heavyweights. Best known for his releases on renowned labels such as Pornographic, Primate, as well as Ben Sims' own Theory Recordings, Adam's sound can be best defined as soul infused techno with constant movement and motion. With more than 50 twelve-inch vinyl releases to his name, Adam's musical palette as a producer extends well into his selections as a DJ.
+ MR. RUBENS
A recent transplant from the Netherlands, Mr. Rubens’ sound is a refreshing break from those that dominate the DC club scene. Inspired by seminal artists such as Leftfield and Jeff Mills, he creates a seamless blend of minimal, funky, and Detroit techno. Having played a laundry list of European hot spots, and founded the thriving Techno Humanity party in Holland, Mr. Rubens is poised to make a similar splash in Washington, starting at MIXED SIGNALS.
