How I Started Making Over $ 4K/mo as a Cam Girl

My hubby & I had a pretty normal life about a year ago… two careers, three kids, a nice little house and money in the bank. There were little luxuries like massages, constant dining out, and pedicures for me. Our boys were 1, 3, & 7 at the time, well fed and always with salon haircuts and new clothes.
And then the market tanked.

We went from a six figure income to about $ 1800/mo in the blink of an eye as we had both been laid-off within a few weeks of one another. Unfortunately, our bills didn’t adjust in the same manner. So while struggling to save our home we stopped paying the credit cards, began the ramen-noodle diet, and needless to say, those little luxuries I mentioned earlier became a distant memory.

It wasn’t long before we filed for BK, lost the house, our pride, and a few pounds. We moved from a lovely 4 bedroom home with a yard into a 1 bedroom apartment with an unkempt playground littered with cigarette butts and beer cans. Months went by and there was no substantial work to be found and what was offered didn’t cover the daycare required.

We had sold all of our belongings, gotten public assistance and now truly had our back against the wall because my unemployment had run out and the hubby’s 2 jobs paid crap. We were in danger of not making the rent on the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in and were running out of ideas.

Now, I am not what you would think of as the “model type”… I’m a mom and not stick thin. So when I was chatting, and by chatting I mean crying my eyes out, with a friend of mine she let me in on her secret. She had been in a position similar to mine not long ago and had researched becoming a Web-Cam Model. She was working about 3 hours a day, 4 days a week and was making over $1000 every two weeks. She was able to block customers in her own state, use an alias for anonymity, and had no contact with clients outside the web interface. She went on to explain that I didn’t have to be the “model type” as the guys who buy private shows want women of all types, sizes, ages and colors.

One, I was a little shocked. Two, I was worried about what was involved in a “private show.” And three… how much could I make part-time???

Fast-forward to 3 months later. I signed up after running it by my hubby. He was a little nervous about it but I was reassuring. Once I had built-up a handful of recurring customers my husband couldn’t believe where all this money was coming from.

I worked 4 hours a day, 5 days a week being an on-line flirt until a client took me to a private show. It was there I would do anything from just chatting with them to playing the role of internet temptress to breaking out some naughty toys. I was simply acting out fantasies for guys I would never meet from the privacy of my own home and bringing in over $4000 a month doing it.

So now, the hubby only has to work 10hrs a day instead of 18. The kids are fed well and have some shoes that fit again. We bought a car that actually starts every time and rented a home in a nicer area that actually fits the size of our family. Our sex-life has even gotten better… I think he is secretly jealous & works even harder now... hey, I’ll take it! And yes, I get my toenails painted at the salon once more.
