Learn about the Impaired Driving Epidemic in Montana when Rebecca Sturdevant presents from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Thursday April 19th in the Community Room at the County Courthouse, downtown. Sturdevant will discuss impairment from many different drugs as well as the effects of mixing drugs with alcohol.
Sturdevant, MSN, APRN has been practicing nursing since 1981, including work in correctional health care, acute care, home care, family practice, and, since 1996, as an occupational health nurse practitioner. She has specialized training and expertise in evaluation of impairment and is certified as a substance abuse program administrator. Because of her passion to stop impaired drivers she is a volunteer with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and has been active as a citizen advocate with the 2011 legislature.
Co-sponsored by Gallatin City/County Health and the DUI TAsk Force, this free event is recommended for health practitioners as well as anyone who drives, especially those who drive professionally or supervise employees who drive on the job. The Community Room is located on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse at at 311 West Main in Bozeman.
