Mother's Day Fancy Dress Swim Oceanside Pier May 10, 2009

This fanciful event is organized by ONE San Diego County to raise funds and awareness for World Swim Against Malaria. Yes we really will be going into the water wearing dresses, suits and ties but fear not.. a simple dip qualifies. (Picture the Polar Bear plunge only warmer weather and clothing!!) Must be 18 to swim (kids can take the pictures this time moms!)Each five dollars raised buys a mosquito net and protects a fellow mom from losing her child to Malaria.
