The event is not for profit, not for winners or losers, but more for students to get experience in the ring. We have people as little as two months experience and as advanced as amateur champions. People that practice other styles of martial arts are welcome to compete but the rules follow amateur Muay Thai kickboxing rules and amateur boxing rules: punches and kicks anywhere but the groin area, knees anywhere but the head. No elbows allowed. They are fought in a full-sized boxing ring with a referee and corner men.

If you don’t already know about Pacific Ring Sports and our Smokers than come find out!!!! We always have fierce competition, good music, and lots of folks….Easy freeway, and BART access, right in downtown Oakland.
