Naho Bessho piano recital "CD release concert" November 22, 2010

Naho Bessho, an accomplished concert pianist, will give a piano recital celebrating a release of her first CD, "Invitation". She will play Romantic music by Weber, Faure, Mendelssohn, Medtner, and Rachmaninoff. Admission by donation at the door.

She was born in Japan, and graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music with a master's degree in 1999. She won the highest award at the Japan Classical Music Competition, and the 2nd prize at Yangtze-River-Cup International Competition. She moved in the US in 2002 and graduated from Boston University in 2006 with a performance diploma. Since then she has been giving many piano solo recitals and ensemble concerts in New England areas.
