Words from an Empty Boat is a new collection of poems from Nathan Spoon that takes as its topic simple and direct reflection on who the reader or hearer of the poems is--and ultimately what everything is--according to the core teachings of ancient and modern sages alike: namely pure awareness. Nathan is a writer on the subject of non-duality. Previous publications include chapbooks as well as being a part of an anthology compiled by award-winning poet and educator Naomi Shihab Nye titled What Have You Lost?
