National Kidney Foundation's 6th Annual Kidney Walk June 7, 2007

Take a step to fight kidney disease at the National Kidney Foundation’s 6th annual Kidney Walk. On Thursday, June 7th gather your friends, family and co-workers for a twilight stroll through the beautiful Lafayette Park. The walk will draw attention to the importance of early detection for those at risk while raising funds for kidney patients and their families. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM and walkers will take off on a one mile or three mile route through the historic Lafayette neighborhood at 6:30 PM. Come early to visit the sponsors’ booths, enjoy free massages, food and drink, kid friendly activities and a lively warm up. Walkers of all ages are invited to join in the fun by walking individually or by forming a team and will receive a free Kidney Walk t-shirt with a $25 donation.
