Thinking about and planning for our plant choices now extend beyond color and form. We seek plants that won't escape into the natural community, give us a pleasing landscape, and at the same time provide valuable nourishment and habitat for birds, mammals and insects. We'll look at the reasons to go native, and be introduced to a choice collection of beautiful - and well behaved - indigenous plants. This program will inspire your gardening and enhance your appreciation of our native species. - - Open to anyone age 16 or older. Directions will be sent to registrants. Registration is required. Call 781-259-2200 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=1715-DFP11WI1 for more information.
