The Morton Arboretum is bringing together 11 renowned artists from around the world in a new outdoor art exhibit. The artists designed their pieces specifically based on how they “read” the unique landscape “galleries” where the works will be displayed.
Sculptures of various materials—such as charred wood, metal, tree branches, and fabric—are inspired by the Arboretum’s world-renown tree collections. The outdoor exhibit demonstrates a creative approach to combining art and nature.
WHEN: Friday, May 20, 2011 through Sunday, November 27, 2011

WHERE: The Morton Arboretum, I-88 and Rte. 53 in Lisle, Illinois. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 7 a.m. until sunset.

FEES: The exhibition is free with Arboretum admission, which is $8 for youth ages 2-17, $11 for adults, and $10 for seniors over age 65.
