The birds are coming back and are busy making their nests. Let's check out the sanctuary to see who's moving in. Are there bluebirds in the nest boxes? Have the red Winged Blackbirds returned? Where would you build your nest if you were a bird? Try your hand at nest building. What would you use to make your nest - grasses, sticks and/or mud? - - For up to three children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but please mention these participants when registering. - - Things You Should Know: - - -Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of all animals and visitors. - - -Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - -Programs include time indoors as well as outdoors; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures! - - -In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated. - - - If severe weather occurs please call our cancellation line by dialing 781-259-2200 (press 2, then 3).
