Author, Myra Stephens, describes her book as, “the tale of a young girl who at the tender age of seven, loses one half of herself to death. Her twin sister drowns in the river that runs through their family farm. Could it be that she has really returned from the dead on the day of the funeral? Thus begins her journey from happy-go-lucky twin to broken half of a whole - and her attempt to rebuild that life. All the while, still attached to her ghostly, but very real to her, sister. On the one hand, clinging to her with every fiber of her being - yet at the same time, yearning to be her own person with one voice.”
Famed author of various works including Golden Girl: The Story of Jessica Savitch, Alanna Nash, adds, “This is a haunting portrait of grief, mental illness, and the unshakable bond between the quick and the dead. Unforgettable."
