New Director's Workshop March 20, 2009

REGISTRATION:
Everyone is welcome, but we do ask that you register for the event.

COST:
Nothing...it is a benefit workshop

GOAL:
To develop new directors for our seasons.

DIRECTORS:
Three established directors from RRT with a variety of approaches will present their take on the workshop topics.

TOPICS:
The workshop will consist of topics that our directors deal with when hired to direct a musical or play. The directors will cover topics dealing with casting, blocking, working with designers, budgets, schedules, organizational needs, and facilities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The workshop will end with the directors choosing a 15-20 minute script and presenting these plays on April 4th. The process will have a public presentation that is free and open to the public. We highly encourage you to participate in the presentation of your work.

Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the workshop and you will receive a comp ticket to Marilyn Maye's concert on March 21, at 8:00PM.
