New Jersey's Gilded Age Opulence, Struggle and Innovation September 24, 2009

Using text and touching photographs to tell the story of the Gilded Age, this remarkable exhibit includes such artifacts as objects found in tenements wallpaper samples, marbles, matchboxes and an ice box, industrial items such as a factory cart used to transport silk, bobbins, a Singer sewing machine, jacquard loom pattern cards and tools used while working on the trains.
