BRAND NEW NIGHT to come to Swansea introducing the best Breaks DJ’s and producers from all corners of the world-bringing u first of all one of the most influential breaks and PHAT beats producers around, from Passenger records comes Aquasky. They kicked off the year by receiving no less than seven nominations at the International Breakspoll Awards held at the Fabric Nightclub in London for their Passenger label. The trio have been busy steaming ahead making their labelone of the strongest independent labels in dance music, always looking forward, never back.

Originally set up as an output for their breaks releases, 2007 saw the label diversify from the ‘bassline’ sound they instigated by releasing electro and fidget house to tech-edge beasts and big bad breaks. 2008 will see the label branch out further giving both artist and label a new foothold in the fickle world of dance music.

Passenger Records

Aquasky are back with a fresh mix-up of some of the coolest cuts in clubland. 76mins of musical mischief and melody manipulation expertly mixed by a trio of true ‘old school’ legends living it up in a new school world!

Passenger Records have kept to the same format as before, keeping the product as a budget release but squeezing it to the brim of new beats, basslines and bloodfire riddimz, some of which have never or indeed, will never get released.

This release will also be in conjunction with a new Aquasky single featuring Ninja Tune vocalist Blu Rum 13 titled ‘Tell Me You Love It’ with fidget, breaks and acid crunk mixes by Aquasky and a special 4/4 bassline digital only release by up and coming bass-slayers Slipz N Dapz. Not only that but there will be a limited edition hip hop EP released separately also featuring Blu Rum 13 and UK hip hop legends DJ Format and DJ Woody… it’s all out there to satisfy any punters palette.

Jumping boundaries between house, breaks, electro, drum & bass, 4/4 bassline and hip hop, this is a true representation of an Aquasky DJ session. Building, layering, blending and blaring… it’s the music of 2008 tightly packaged into one affordable, beautifully presented compact disc / download package...

Aquasky will be adding to their already extensive worldwide DJ schedule by going out on the road from October touring the compilation up to the end of 2008, when they will take time out to write their next long player (their first solo album since 2005’s Teamplayers) which is already starting to shape up into something of a monster!

It’s the sound of the bassline, trust us, you will love it
