Newport Beach Film Festival Dance Film call for entries November 21, 2008

CALL FOR ENTRIES:

Newport Beach Film Festival for Dance
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Newport Beach Film Festival will be hosting a special segment specifically devoted to films commemorating the art of dance.
We have enjoyed considerable success in previous years, including hosting the award-winning documentary, Ballet Russes, along with frequent collaborations with Orange County Performing Arts Center, St. Joseph Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, UCI Dance Film Festival, and Dance Camera West.
A wide range of films will be accepted, including, but not limited to videodance, films with dance-related themes, and dance documentaries.
Scheduled to take place from April 23-30, 2009 in Newport Beach, California, selected films will be screened at the historic Regency Lido Theater, the Big Newport and Edwards Island Cinemas in Fashion Island.
