The Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus is celebrating its 5th birthday this year, and the concert 'Now We Are Five!' is the first of many events that will mark the short but incredible history of the biggest gay male chorus in the UK, outside London.
The Chorus is among the best known singing & performing groups in the country, after reaching the final stages of Saturday night BBC One’s Last Choir Standing, watched by over 7.4 million viewers and for their most recent production of their own Christmas Extravaganza Show at the Barbican, London. One of the most respected musical venues in the world.
The Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus is not only proud of the talents and passion of its members, but also of the professional collaborations that has established in the past five years. From West-End director Carole Todd to cabaret artist The Lorraine Bowen Experience, from musical performer Erica Thornton to opera singer Red Gray, from producer/director Tom O’Connell to award winning drag artist Lola Lasagne, from bass-player legend Herbie Flowers to songwriter Jamsheed Master, from world-renowned classical composer Michael Finnissy to 60’s pop princess Sandie Shaw!
The list could go on for pages, but instead of reading about the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus, why don’t you join in the celebration?
If you want a slice of the cake, and you know you do, hurry up because there are limited number of seats available.
