Obama's Bookstore Book Signing January 16, 2010

Our now president, Barack Obama, shopped at the Reading on Walden Bookstore at 99th and Walden Parkway. The husband and wife owners of the store came to know him and believe in him, to the extent that they became involved in his political campaigns for nearly ten years. Author and owner of “Reading on Walden” John Presta signs and discusses his new book, “Mr. and Mrs Grassroots: How Barack Obama, Two Bookstore Owners, and 300 Volunteers Did It”, their story of campaigning for Barack Obama from his failed bid for the senate in 2000, through his presidential victory.
