Old Brick Oratorio October 15, 2011

To open its 35th anniversary season, Columbia Pro Cantare will present the first public performance of local composer Tom Benjamin’s Old Brick Oratorio, Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 8 pm. The oratorio celebrates the 200th anniversary of the dedication of the Old Brick Church and of the history of the congregation, Christ Episcopal Church. Under the direction of Frances Motyca Dawson, Columbia Pro Cantare will be joined for this concert by guest soloists, the Lexington Brass Quintet, a string quartet, percussion, piano, and organ.
