The North Coast Men's Chorus presents "On The Radio". A musical tribute to radio standards from The Roaring '20's, the Rock-n-Roll '50's through the Disco '70's and (almost) everything in-between.
On Saturday March 24th at 8:00 pm and Sunday March 25th at 3:00 p.m. in Cleveland State University's Music and Communications Building at 2001 Euclid Avenue, you'll have a chance to experience a musical tour of radio classics, staged theatrics and much more.
Music Director, Rich Cole will take you from era-to-era, via staged vignettes, with such songs as "Stormy Weather", "A Handfull of Keys", "Aquarius" and much more. Choreography by Lora Workman to "Charleston" and "Rock Around The Clock" will have you tapping your toes and snapping your fingers. Lighting design by Michael Rich will enhance your musical tour 'round the radio dial.
NCMC's own small ensemble "The Coasliners", will add their usual zest and fun. In typical NCMC-style, "Y.M.C.A." will have you up-and-out-of your-seats.
So join us for some fun, laughter and tears of joy.
