“ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS LIGHT” OPENS
THIRD WEEK OF ADVENT IN FRESNO

The first Christmas Eve is the subject of the 2009 Children’s Nativity Play at California’s oldest Armenian Church.
“Once Upon a Christmas Light,” a free multimedia pageant, will be presented at Fresno’s First Armenian Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2009. The play will take place in the Sanctuary of the church campus, 430 South First Street just west of the Historic Huntington Boulevard Candlelight Christmas.
“Once Upon a Christmas Light” intertwines the birth of the Christ Child in Bethlehem of Judea with the work of Stellar, the smallest star in the galaxy. The play features six songs composed by Dr. Michael and Jill Gallina award-winning choral composers whose work has been performed by the Boston Pops and New York Philharmonic and played at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The play will be followed by a pasta dinner in the FAPC Fellowship Hall. Reservations may be made by calling the Church Offices at (559) 237-6638 or e-mailing fapc@fapc.net.
