Operation Safety May 23, 2009

Indian Trails Public Library District hosts Operation Safety, an event promoting driving safety for teens. There will be activities for the entire family including a kiddie train, simulators demonstrating the dangers of irresponsible driving, food and giveaways. Illinois State and Wheeling Police will be on hand for the demonstrations, driving seminars and questions. Wheeling Fire Department will give a "Jaws of Life" demonstration. This is your opportunity to encourage safe driving practices to your teenage driver. Visit the library for this family affair on Saturday, May 23rd, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Food and beverages will be provided. Rain or shine.
