Ft. Lauderdale, FL – October 12, 2008 – Our Daily Bread Mission is hosting its second annual fundraiser at Off the Hookah, in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s Riverfront, on October 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The fundraiser is being held to provide much needed food and assistance to the poor and afflicted in Dominican Republic and Haiti. The event, of formal attire, has a cover charge of $60 and includes dinner, dancing, live jazz entertainment, fashion show, prizes, raffles…and as last year, a great surprise!

Our Daily Bread Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the poor in Dominican Republic, many of whom are Haitians who migrate looking for a better life. As the name states, the “mission” is to provide “daily bread” to those most in need.

The recent hurricanes and storms have devastated those who are already living in dire conditions and are also afflicted in many ways. Last year’s event was a great success, and this year promises to be even better! Please lend a helping hand and join Our Daily Bread Mission in feeding those most in need through your participation on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Off the Hookah located in Las Olas’ Riverfront, 300 SW 1st Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301 at 6:00 p.m.

Last year's event was amazing! The food, ambiance, entertaiment, and all for a great cause! We were thrilled to be there and are looking forward to participating again this year. Little Ethan Bortnick was unbelievable! How did you get him???
I'm looking forward to the fashion show! I hope you have a great turnout so more people can receive their "daily bread." God bless your mission!

Looking foward to the event. This will be the first time that the Bluff House Resort in the Bahamas will be a participant. We are looking to assist in this good cause

I was planning on attending last years event but I couldn't make it do to extenuating circumstances. I heard it was a great time and most of all a great cause was supported. I look forward to flying in from NYC this year to join in the fun.

Last years event was a blast. There was so much fun stuff going on that night that it truly was a night to remember. Its a great cause to support and I'm glad to be a part of it. Last years turn out was great but hopefully this year we'll have even more people get involved. Looking forward to seeing everyone that night. Peace

This event and organization is truly one of a kind and look forward to attending. I've heard so many great things about last years event and how the proceeds directly aided those in need. I just watched the touching video on your website and hope that this fundraiser is bigger than last year. Thank you for providing bread to those who are less fortunate. Good luck!
