Outside your comfort zone - into monastic life! (Leeds Flickr July 14, 2007

Leeds Flickr Group - Photo Shoot:
Part photo-walk, part social documentary opportunity.

Meeting at 10:45 at the Yorkshire Post building on Wellington Street in the city centre. We will set off and walk along the Leeds-Liverpool canal as far as Kirkstall Abbey in time to meet the Kirkstall Gala Parade at (around) 1pm.

Apparently during the afternoon there is a fete including jousting 'and stuff'.

Transport
There is a multi-storey car park near the Yorkshire Post and another near the Abbey (tho not sure if it will be open/free on this date) - and plenty of buses along Kirkstall Road.
