Owl Always Be Your Valentine February 11, 2011

Whoo flies through the woods at night on silent wings? Walk though the farm and forest searching for signs of these fabulous creatures. Where do they live? What is their favorite food? How do they get it? Do they bring their sweetheart a valentine treat? Meet one of Drumlin's own resident owls up close. Then make your own owl valentine! - - All ages welcome. For one or more adults with 1-3 children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but please mention these participants when registering. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rates. Please consider joining when you register. - - - Things You Should Know: - - -Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for. - - -Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - -Programs include time indoors, as well as outside, and will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures! If severe weather occurs please call our cancellation line by dialing 781-259-2200 (then press 2, then 3). If your program is not mentioned, it will take place as scheduled. - - -In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated. Registration is required.
