Learn about some of nature's best adapted predators; owls. Visitors will get an up close look at some live owls with the folks from Carbon County EE Center. This program is sponsored by the Nescopeck State Park Junior Bird Club. Members are asking for donations of the following items from the Center's wish list as program "admission": baby blankets, pillow cases, hot water bottles, hand warmers, small stuffed toys, baby food in jars, IAMS kitten & puppy chow, rabbit pellets, rodent chow, apples, carrots, spinach, nuts, acorns, rolled gauze, antibiotic ointment, scrub brushes, plastic shoe boxes sheepskin, welding gloves, masking tape, or duct tape. CCEEC is a non-profit, licensed wildlife rehabilitation center and frequently uses these items to care for injured wildlife and birds.
