Painting My Dreams; Art of Rural Life-Mary Mol January 9, 2010

Ive worked hard getting to this part of my life! God has been good to me through many trials and tribulations. My family was mostly farmers and ranchers in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming. Farm machinery and old barns still make me homesick for mountains and open spaces. Childhood is brief and busy spent helping with livestock and crops, and the endless inside tasks; meals, dishes, laundry, and cleaning! I loved to draw as a kid ut chores didnt leave much time for that. At 74, Ive finally caught up with my elusive daydream. For five years now, Ive put lots of mountains on canvas. Museum closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.
