PANASONIC PRODUCTS AND P2 WORKFLOW: WHAT'S NEW FOR FALL
With the cold-turkey transition from analog to digital broadcast set for the beginning of 2009, more and more video production is moving from DV to HD to keep a competitive edge. HD products require correct workflow components to make the leap worth it.
Local integrated video production business Texas Media Systems will be showcasing the Panasonic product line and addressing digital video production with this in mind at an event they are bringing to Austin: The Panasonic Fall Premiere. Come see what accessories will prove invaluable to quick and professional workflow (overhead camera support, matte boxes, battery packs, etc), and learn some valuable tricks for HD post-production (in both Final Cut and Avid environments). The show will also address audio needs with top-of-the-line microphones with ProTools walkthroughs as examples. "Your audio can't be neglected," says Chel Rich, Pro Audio Consultant at Texas Media Systems, "audiences will stop watching even the most pristine video if the quality of the audio doesn't match." Chel was brought on recently to expand audio/video workflow and integration to meet the ever-increasing demands of the industry.
This one day event is September 25th, from 1pm-5pm at Texas Media Systems (4311 Medical Parkway, Austin, TX 78756). While other local shows charge exorbitant attendance fees, the Panasonic Fall Premiere will be free and open to the public, with food and snacks provided. As if that wasn't enough incentive, Texas Media Systems is also giving away a Nintendo Wii.
