Parlin Library Scholastic Chess Tournament April 1, 2011

The Parlin Library invites students 18 years and younger to compete in its 16th Annual Scholastic Chess Tournament. Sign up at the library or call 617-394-2302 or email mike@talestoldtall.com to reserve your seat. Walk-ins are welcome and are admitted on a first come first served basis. Registration is limited to 32 players.

Check in by 9:45 or risk losing your place. Participants will play 3 rounds of chess from 10 AM to 1 PM. Playoffs will be held in each of 4 divisions (by age) from 2-4 PM. All are invited to the closing ceremony and presentation of trophies. This tournament is not a USCF rated event.
