Monday, July 18 - Friday, July 22, 9 am - 4:30 pm (Ages 7 - 17 Intermediate and Advanced)
Fee: $230
Participants learn stick techniques, rudiments, reading music, and applying it all to the drum set. After that, the stage is set to experience other areas of percussion ensemble and rhythm section performance. Participant experiences will be fun and educational. Campers will mingle with kids of different age and skill levels in a setting that lets the more experienced act as role models for the younger ones. At the same time, each camper will be challenged to achieve his or her own personal best. You will learn about music theory, ensemble playing, promoting a performance, how to get through a concert, how to maximize your creativity, and how to compose.
