Perfecting Light, Color and Composition: Essential Skills to Create Great Images August 19, 2011

F-11 Photographic Supplies and professional photographer Felix Marquez invite you to a 3-day hands-on workshop focusing on light, color and composition.  Learn to capture incredible color without the use of filters or computer software the same way Marquez does.  Understand the different lighting in nature, and see how to use color, contrast, lines, forms and shapes to create images with outstanding composition. Don't just take pictures; learn to create images under Marquez' expert guidance.

The class begins Friday, August 19th at 2:30 PM for a three hour session that includes a group critique with participants sharing the best and worst image they've ever taken. Meet back up in the F-11 classroom Saturday from 8:30 to 5:30 PM for three 45-minute lectures, each with its own photo shoot, image editing session and group critique. Then, Sunday from 8:30am to 12:00pm, learn about lighting and basic posing and ending with a hands-on studio shoot and critique.
