PETE NEUMAN and the REAL DEAL October 13, 2006

Part 2 of October’s Major Music Weekend. A rockin' blues trio from New Richmond, Wisconsin. Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, and Elmore James. Mix all of that in a pot, stir, and you get a concoction of Texas shuffles, slow gut-bucket blues, and driving rock'n'roll. Pete Neuman fronts the contemporary blues band on guitar and vocals. He is backed by a rock-solid rhythm section of John Neuman, Pete's brother, on drums and Matt Hagen on bass.
