Explore those dark rocks on the West Side to discover the variety of images, and the color and diversity of flora and fauna nearby. For enticement, visit the inauguration of a new poster for the Petroglyph National Monument that displays patterns of petroglyphs relating to the life found among them. Kathy Chilton has photographed details of the park in all sesons and has assembled many of her photos for the poster and the exhibit. The photo exhibit of the treasures on and between the basalt rocks will be shown at the Open Space Visitor Center at 6500 Coors Blvd NW. This is east of Coors between Montano and Paseo del Norte. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The opening is Friday, June 1, 5 to 7pm and after the opening, can be visited during regular Open Space Visitor Center hours through June 11.
