he conventional definition of “philosophy” is the love of wisdom. However, “wisdom” is a difficult term to define because one may not know what constitutes

wisdom and whose wisdom we are talking about. Wisdom is found in every culture and no single culture can claim to possess the ultimate answer and knowledge.

In the simplest terms, philosophy is the attempt to understand the world!

Join us for Wine & Cheese as we explore New and Old world Ideas & 'Wisdoms'

This first of a series of Philosophy Cafe's will begin with Rochelle Wright and her 'story' with clients and their Loved Ones in the Afterlife

In the 1990s, a number of seasoned, respected, state-certified psychotherapists began reporting cases of contacts between their patients and deceased loved ones during grief therapy sessions. Today, over 50 highly qualified psychotherapists from around the world have been trained to help clients experience these afterlife communications during therapy. It is a growing, groundbreaking method of grief therapy.

The most successful method of having this connection has been developed by Rochelle Wright, a state-licensed and nationally certified psychotherapist from Washington State who has specialized in grief and trauma therapy for 22 years. She has published a revolutionary new book titled Guided Afterlife Connections containing 24 accounts of clients having conversations in her office with the deceased people for whom they were grieving. The experiences heal the clients’ grief and reorient their perspectives on life and death. She is not a medium. The connections happen between the experiencer and his or her loved one while the experiencer’s eyes are closed. Rochelle uses a psychotherapy method she describes in the book to help the client come into a state of openness to the connection. She does not lead or influence it.

Rochelle Wright, M. S., is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Chemical
Dependency Professional, National Certified Counselor, and EMDR Certified Therapist. She has been a
counselor for over 22 years, specializing in trauma.
