Photographing Fall Color: Workshop & Shoot September 28, 2012

Explore how to photograph fall color in this two day workshop and in-the-field experience. The workshop begins with a 2 hour primer by photographer and Tamron educator Jeff Allen. Learn about color and how and why to capture it for the most impact in your photography. Then, Saturday, drive to the spectacular Jefferson Island Ranch near Whitehall to capture morning light and apply your new skills. Try out a new lens and get a new look, courtesy of Tamron and the giant lens trunks that will be flown in for your use at the workshop. The class will have exclusive access to photograph the groves of cottonwood trees, Fish Creek, a pond and much more. Lunch will be provided at the ranch, followed by image sharing, critique and a photo contest sponsored by Beartooth Capital--our host.

The class meets Friday September 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday the 29th from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enrollment is $99.99 and early pre-registration is required. Register online or call 406-586-3281.
