Photolog 09 'Journey through the lens' - A Travel Photography Exhibition February 11, 2009

Photolog 09 ‘Journey through the lens’: A photography exhibition organized by Countryside Adventure Holidays - a Mumbai based group which specializes in devising innovative travel packages mixed with adventure. What sets this exhibition apart from any other such show is that it is not just a collection of pretty and posed holiday pictures. It is a selection of really unique characters of off-beat destinations as photographed by travelers who are good photographers in their own right.

Here is a look at the travel log through the eyes and lenses of people who don't necessarily practice photography as an occupation. These are ordinary people who like to explore and experience unique destinations and different cultures which shows amply through their photographs. These are the pictures from their heart.

Travel through these photographer's eyes to exotic landscapes and cultures of Barren and desolate Ladakh, mystical Himachal and Assam, the dewy freshness of Sikkim, sun and wind swept Lakshadweep and Andaman islands, the heady heights of Kailash Mansarovar, the quintessential splendour of Nepal, and the unique sights and sounds of ancient Bhutan - and many more.

This exhibition also marks completion of our 15 years of existence. What began as a dream has now turned into a flourishing reality for us at Countryside. But, it wouldn’t have been possible without the constant support of all our well wishers like you.

Photolog 09 opens at 4pm on February 12th ‘09 and continues till February 15th ‘09 between 11am to 8pm at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi.
