Pitch and a Pint (MTB night ride) May 28, 2009

This week we're off to Pitch Hill again, meeting at the Hurtwood Control Car Park 2 in Peaslake to go mountain biking.
It's usually quite technical, about ten miles or so, requires a reasonable level of fitness and powerful lights are a must as it gets pretty dark under them trees!
Find our meeting point, Hurtwood Control Car Park 2 on Google maps.
Get there for 7:45 with a prompt 8:00 start after a bit of bike assembly.
Note, this is not an organised ride. We're just mountain bikers going roughly in the same direction at roughly the same time!

Look forward to seeing you Mark. Have to underline that lights are an essential at Pitch - it gets very dark under the trees and you really want to see where you're going!
A helmet light is a useful addition too with the twisty trails.

No worries. Have a powerful Lupine handle-bar mounted floodlight, and an EXPosure helmet spot. Looks like Thursday's a good call weather wise.
