Pizza My Heart for VT Seva Cancer Awareness and Prevention March 22, 2010

VT Seva is a youth non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to promote understanding and tolerance in society by empowering youth, the value of volunteering and philanthropy. Our youth volunteers are learning how to plan, develop, and implement projects for protection of animals and environment, promote free health programs, provide quality education and life skills to underprivileged families, help organize disaster relief programs in time of need, and build bridges between different communities. Our volunteers are bringing awareness for the four pillars of VT Seva's outreach projects: literary awareness, environmental campaigns, blind awareness and education, as well as cancer awareness, early detection and cure programs.

In an effort to raise money for our upcoming cancer walk-a-thon, set for Sunday, March 28, from 10 am - 12 pm on De Anza Track, Pizza My Heart has gladly agreed to host a fundraiser. 30% of all profits made in this time will be donated to VT Seva's efforts to provide free cancer screening and detection to low socioeconomic familes as well as donate to Susan G. Komen's Cancer Research Foundation. But please, you must mention "VT SEVA" for us to get 30%.

The costs of our programs break down as follows, and you can make a difference by even buying just one pizza.
$5 - To sponsor a free VIA test or Pap smear
$10 - To sponsor a free mammogram
$25 - For cancer screening and hospital visits
