Plein Aire Art Workshop in Pacific Grove May 8, 2008

American Visions Art Gallery in Folsom, California announces its eighth Plein Aire workshop with Charles White -- this time near Pacific Grove. Well-known landscape artist Charles White will teach the techniques of landscape painting. “Plein Aire” painters work on location to quickly capture the changing light that occurs in nature, giving the artwork the reality it deserves.

Charles has taught art workshops in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Vancouver and Tuscany. He has a unique ability to work with students, whether new to painting or professional artists-- giving each fresh views of looking at a setting and transforming it into a painted landscape. Participants will have the opportunity to stay in the natural setting of Asilomar nestled in a large grove of state park and be within a few feet from the ocean.

Lodging and all three meals a day are covered by the price.
